I’ve been getting the same message, and for me, there was no opm.db file to delete. When Creative Cloud says their is no Internet connection. My partner is using Adobe Story Plus (the paid version), and we write together remotely. I’m only using Adobe Story to write scripts which works strictly online. In MSYS, mintty can be installed with mingw-get. I’ve been having the same problem, but I’m not a Creative Cloud subscriber. The Cygwin installer creates a shortcut for mintty in the Windows start menu. It can be downloaded from here or it can be installed through Cygwins setup.exe program, where it can be found in the Shells category. I can do everything else on the internet, including this discussion, but cannot update Adobe. The serialized versions of the Adobe Creative Cloud installers (i.e. Mintty is a terminal emulator for Cygwin and Cygwin derivatives such as MSYS. When downloading the Creative Cloud Connection it says I have no internet connection, 'Please connect to the internet and try again'.
